This drug was used to treat pain (algia) associated with acute or chronic rhumatism, and diverse painful symptoms, notably in cases of dysmenorrhea, or virus infection. It was also used to treat pain in dentistry. This oral drug contained the antalgic paracetamol (acetaminophen), the antitussive agent codethyline (ethylmorphine), and glucosamine which helps to relieve joint pain (notably in cases of arthritism). Codethyline is a derivative of morphine (an opioid which is one of the many poppy alkaloids) commonly found in antitussive preparations. The drug is no longer commercialized.
